For over 30 years, the Canadian Centre for Child Protection has been dedicated to the safety of all children. Their goal is to reduce child victimization by providing programs and services to Canadians. They do this through public awareness activities, personal safety education programs and the national tip line to report online sexual abuse of children (Cybertip.ca).

This section deals with your account.... how to check how much time you are using, how to have your password changed, who to contact by email with specific questions, how you can make payments on your account, our various access plans, etc.

TCP-IP & Dial-up Networking
This section deals with how to properly configure or setup Win95/98/ME/NT4/Win2k/WinXP Dial-up Networking and TCP/IP. You can review your settings here or learn how to configure your systems from scratch. 

Configuring Windows XP
The Microsoft Windows XP operating system has a built-in Internet connection wizard.  You do not need software from eagle.ca to setup you Windows XP computer to connect to the Internet.  Instructions on setting up your Windows XP computer area available here.

10-digit dialing instructions!
The telephone company has introduced 10-digit dialing and you need to configure your computer to be able to dial using the area code.  Instructions are available here

Mac OS 8
This will walk you through setting up your modem for access to eagle if you have Mac OS 8.

Our Older Software Installation Packages
NOTE: eagle.ca no longer actively supports Windows 95. We will endeavour to assist if possible, however, it would be advantageous for you as an Internet user to consider upgrading your hardware and software to a more current status.

This section deals with how to install our eagleConnect packages on your computer. Specifically eagle31.exe, eagle95.exe and our latest package for win95/98/NT4 called eagleconnect.exe (which contains eagle.exe and eagle.oid) from floppy disks, our CD-ROM or from our web site.

Keep in mind that Win95/98/NT4 and Macintosh System 8+ already contain Internet software applications to use once you are connected so you may not be required to install our software, but rather, follow the instructions to configure your computer to access the Internet through eagle.ca

Trumpet Winsock and Windows 3.x
NOTE: eagle.ca no longer actively supports Windows 3.1. We will endeavour to assist if possible, however, it would be advantageous for you as an Internet user to consider upgrading your hardware and software to a more current status.

This section deals with how to install our Windows 3.x software package, how to properly configure Trumpet Winsock and some common troubleshooting questions with answers are also provided.

Email Configuration 
This section deals with how to configure popular E-Mail programs to send and receive e-mail through eagle.ca. Some of those e-mail programs are Eudora, Netscape Mail, Microsoft Internet Mail and Outlook Express. We'll also show you how to read and understand some of the messages that get returned to you.

 We'll also address the matter of SPAM here.

Personal Home Pages
This section deals with how to upload your web site to the eagle server, how to add a counter, and how to create a form that will e-mail you the answers.

 Keep in mind our eagle staff can't teach you how to create a web site but we can assist you when it comes time to make your web site available to the rest of the world.

Microsoft Internet Explorer
This section deals with how to fine tune your personal preferences in Microsoft Internet Explorer like setting up your default start page, setting up the connection method, pointing to your favourite email program, and clearing the cache.

Netscape Communicator
This section will show you how to set up your default start page and clear the cache.

Your Dial-Up Connection
This section will trouble shot some common problems with dial-up access... modem speeds, modem firmware,  reasons why you get disconnected, how to speed up your connection and how to protect your computer from Hackers.
