·Small ‘iron-hard’ hooves, and legs but with a relatively thick cannon bone (strength)
·May have slight feathering on the backs of the canon bones
·Small, profusely haired ears set wide apart
·Kind, gentle eye
·Broad forehead taping towards the muzzle
·Average height of 12.2-13.2 hh (mares 12.0 – 13.0 and stallions 13.0 – 14.2)
·Any solid colour except white or cream
(small white markings permitted on the face and lower legs below the knee)
·No “patterned” colours (paint, appaloosa, tobiano etc)
