Signs are the devices that will make or break a campaign. Too few and the impression of momentum is lost. Too flimsy much maintenance will be needed. Too high and the wind will blow them over. If they are made of cardboard the rain will destroy them. The main point to learn with signs is that you only get what you pay for! Good signs cost money!
This sign style is new to me, a vinyl sheet stapled to stakes. Unfortunately the vinyl is subject to weather, stretching in the sun and cracking in the frost and in the meantime the wrinkles show ...does not look professional. On the second day some are starting to wrinkle. This sign is too high, the wind will blow it over, it is also an expensive sign as two signs are on one stake. Stakes are cheaper than signs so it should have been a double sided sign with two stakes. It is also located too close to the sidewalk on a major pedestrian way. It will be prone to vandalism. This sign has been well located: low and stable, sturdy and well staked. But only one sided. I suspect these signs have been used before; another point awarded for frugality! This sign has one fault: it is only one sided. If you pay this much money for a large sign spend the little extra for a second swipe (on the back). The presentation of this sign depends on the vertical alignment of the stakes. This one is a little twisted but well supported This sign has it all, nearly, double sided, small enough for two stakes and a big name. It should have been mounted at a proper right angle to the fence. You can see it more clearly from one side than the other. But the location is perfect, along King St West on a major trafficway and large enough to be seen at a distance.
