3.5.4 Army

    Received of Alexander Macdonell Esquire, Deputy Paymaster General of militia by the hands of M. Robert Richardson Paymaster of Militia at Kingston, the sum of three pounds, five shillings and four pence Army being my net pay from the 3rd to the 18th October 1814 inclusive for duty done in escorting American prisoners of war from the District of Newcastle to Kingston for which I have signed triplicate receipts.
