I have the honour to acknowledge the right of your Circular, of the 6th, the 9th Instant. Inclosed I send you a list of the officers of the 7th Regiment of Northumberland Militia, with the dates of their commissions on appointments, And I beg leave to mention for His Honour The President’s information that as Roger Woolcut was the oldest Lieutenant I Recommended him for a Captaincy, as there was a vacancy, Ensign John Richardson to be lieutenant, and Samuel Brock, an old Loyalists to be ensigns, they have some Militia duty as such for some time, there being another Ensigncy Vacant, I recommended Mr. Joseph I. Lousi and hope they may meet this Honours approbations.

Ensign Henry Ruttan is doing duty in the Incorporated Militia of this Country.
