1974 MGB Tourer USA

Currently victim of a complete stripdown restoration by myself. It will be resprayed in the original color "mirage", somewhat ugly but rare!

In 1994 I got infected by the MG virus. I convinced my wife that she would
look beautifully in a classic sportscar, and we bought ourselves a shiny red
1978 MGB. As soon as we became members of the MG Car Club Holland, the
trouble began:
All those other cars were shining even more than ours, and all that chrome
was better looking than our 'rubber bumper'.
Within one year we sold our car again, and we bought back a restoration object.
The other MG lunatics had convinced me that restoring a MG is a piece of
cake, even for a technical novice. I hope that they are right!

The restoration job is going on for almost 2 years now. I am taking my time
to do it properly and I have very little spare time.

Besides the car, I spend my free time as a regional coordinator of the
MG Car Club Holland, region "Oost Brabant". You can also find me at
the keyboard of my computer, maintaining my own website. This - of course -
is dedicated to the claasic marque of MG and was actually the first MG site
