Blind Draw Darts • Mondays and Wednesdays
Come out and play blind draw darts. Men's darts are Monday at 7:30pm. Mixed
darts Wednesday at 7:30pm.
Happy Gang plays cards • every Tuesday upstairs
Happy gang plays cards, such as euchre or cribbage, at 1 p.m., every Tuesday
upstairs at the Cobourg Legion. Open to the public.
Ladies' Darts • Wednesday Nights
Wednesday night Ladies' Darts are for members of our Ladies' Auxiliary only.
Bid Euchre • 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month
Bid euchre is on the second and fourth Thursday of every month, beginning at
7 p.m., in the hall upstairs at the Cobourg Legion.
Friday night Mixed Darts • Friday Nights
Friday night mixed darts are looking for 8 more players still. Contact Rob or
Cathy Brown at 905-372-8388.
Meat Draws • Friday and Saturdays
Meat draws are every Friday night at 5 p.m., with the Friday snacks from 5 to 7
p.m., and Meat draws on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.
Friday Night snacks • Fridays
On Friday nights snacks are served from 5-7pm. Burger and Fries or Sausages and
fries. Come out and enjoy!
Shuffle Board League • Sundays at 1pm!
We are still looking for players for the Shuffleboard league. We play every
Sunday at 1 p.m.
Wall of Hero's
The Royal Canadian Legion in Cobourg now has the picture of our Canadian Soldier
killed on Friday on its Wall Of Heroes. His name is Cpl. Joshua C Baker of Loyal
Edmonton Reg. Alta. on 12 Feb. 2010. His death brings to 141 the number of
Canadian Military personnel to die in Afghanistan since the mission began in 2002.
Our sympathy goes out to the families, relatives and friends of the soldier.
Lest We Forget, We Will Remember Them.
Fish and Chips Dinner • Saturday Mar. 6, 2010
At the Cobourg Legion there is going to be a Fish and Chips Dinner on Saturday
March 6th at 5 pm., 2 pieces of fish and fries and coleslaw. $10 per person.
There are only 130 dinner tickets so get them early. Tickets are available at the
bar. Entertainment to follow from 7:30 to 11:30 pm and it's deejay Bill Young,
downstairs.
General Meeting • Thursday Mar. 18, 2010
There is a general meeting on Thursday March 18 at 7:30 pm.
Entertainment • Saturday Mar. 20, 2010
The Entertainment on Saturday March 20th downstairs is Lee and Bob from 7:30
to 11:30 pm.
Cribbage Tournament • Sunday Mar. 21, 2010
There is going to be a cribbage Tournament on Sunday March 21st, two-person teams,
$10 a team. Register at 12 noon and play at 1 pm, downstairs at the Legion.

Roast Beef Dinner • Sunday Mar. 21, 2010
Cobourg Legion Br 133, 136 Orr St., in Cobourg, Ladies Auxiliary Roast Beef Dinner
complete with tea, coffee and dessert at 5:30 pm on Sunday March 21st. Tickets are
$10 each. Advance sales on, call Yolanda McKinnon at 905-373-4336 to reserve your
tickets or purchase tickets at the bar.
Hall Rentals
You can rent the Cobourg Legion Hall for receptions, Weddings and private parties.
Catering is available. The hall is air conditioned and is wheelchair accessible.
