Canoe Trip Package on the Indian River from Lang Pioneer Village to Serpent Mounds Park, Ontario
Feel the peace as you slide in a canoe along the Indian River and round the islands of Rice Lake in Ontario. Satisfy your curiosity as you learn about the geologic, aboriginal and settlement history of the Trent-Severn Waterway. Participants meet their guide and canoes at Lang Pioneer Village in Keene. There will be a guide tour of the restored village and a shore lunch before setting out down the river. At Serpent Mounds, there will be a guided tour of the ancient Indian burial grounds, before taking a boat ride (weather permitting) back to Victoria Inn.
Cost: $85. per person (tax and gratuity excluded)
Children are half price if accompanied by three paying adults on trip.
The Canoe Package includes use of canoe, equipment, and services of an experienced guide.

The Victoria Inn specializes in fresh Ontario country cooking, using local meat, produce, game (pheasant and bison) and fish.
